Cecilia Arizti Sobrino (born October 28, 1856 – died June 30, 1930) was a talented Cuban musician. She was a composer (someone who writes music), a pianist (someone who plays the piano), and a music teacher.
Her Life Story
Cecilia Arizti was born in Havana, Cuba. Her father, Fernando Arizti, was also a pianist. Her mother was Teresa Sobrino.
Cecilia started learning music from her father. She also studied how to write music (composition) with teachers like Francisco Fuentes and Espadero Ruiz. It was clear from a young age that she was very good at creating her own music.
After finishing her studies, Cecilia became a concert pianist. She performed in many concerts in Cuba and the United States. She also became a professor at the Carlos Alfredo Peyrellade Conservatory, a music school. She even wrote a book to help people learn piano techniques.

Cecilia Arizti wrote many pieces, mostly for the piano. Her music is in the "Romantic style." This style often has strong emotions and beautiful melodies.
