The Cementerio de San Justo, also called Sacramental de San Justo, is a famous cemetery in Madrid, Spain. It's close to another cemetery called Cementerio de San Isidro. You can find it in the Carabanchel area, between two streets: Paseo de la Ermita del Santo and Vía Carpetana. The main entrance is at 70 Paseo de la Ermita del Santo.

History of the Cemetery

Building the Cementerio de San Justo started in 1846. It was finished quickly, by August 1847. When it first opened in 1847, it only had one main area. This area was called the San Miguel Courtyard. Inside this courtyard, there is a chapel. The chapel has a statue of San Miguel, which came from an old Franciscan convent.
