Central station is a very important MTR station in Hong Kong. It's located in the Central area on Hong Kong Island. Think of it as a busy hub where many train lines meet!
The station's main color is a bright firebrick red, but the platforms for the Tsuen Wan Line are a dark brown. Central station is the very last stop (or terminus) for the Tsuen Wan Line. It also connects to the Island Line, and you can even transfer to the Tung Chung Line and the Airport Express at Hong Kong Station, which is connected underground.

History of Central Station
This station was once known as Chater Station. When it was first planned, it was designed to handle around 330,000 passengers daily. It was also going to be super long, about 380 meters, which would have made it one of the longest stations in the world!
