History of Cerocahui
Cerocahui was started by a Jesuit missionary in the year 1680. Missionaries are people who travel to new places to share their beliefs. The town grew around the mission church built by these missionaries.
The local Jesuit church is a very important building in Cerocahui. It has been a central part of the community for centuries. In June 2022, a very sad event happened at the church. Several people, including two Jesuit priests, lost their lives there. This event brought a lot of sadness to the community.
The Chepe Train Station
