Cerro Tenerife is a cool hill located in the state of Mérida in Venezuela. This hill is quite tall, reaching more than 2,500 meters (about 8,200 feet) high!
It got its name from the beautiful island of Tenerife in Spain. Imagine a place in Venezuela named after a Spanish island far away! Right next to Cerro Tenerife, you'll find a stream called Quebrada Tenerife. It's an intermittent stream, which means it doesn't flow all the time; it might dry up during certain parts of the year.
