Chad Damian Robinson (born October 20, 1980 – died November 26, 2016) was an Australian professional rugby league player. He spent many years playing in Australia's top league, the National Rugby League (NRL). His teams included the Parramatta Eels and the Sydney Roosters. He also played for one season with the Super League team Harlequins RL in England.

Chad Robinson's Rugby League Journey
Chad Robinson had an exciting career playing rugby league. He was known for his strong play.
Early Success with Sydney Roosters
After winning the 2002 NRL Premiership with the Sydney Roosters, Chad traveled to England. He played in the 2003 World Club Challenge. This was a big game against the English champions, St Helens R.F.C.. Chad played from the bench, helping Sydney win the match.
He also played in two NRL Grand Finals for the Roosters.
- In the 2003 NRL grand final, his team lost to the Penrith Panthers.
- In the 2004 NRL grand final, they lost to the Canterbury-Bankstown team. Chad played from the bench in both of these important games.
Time with Parramatta Eels
In 2005, Chad joined the Parramatta Eels. He played 20 games that year. The Eels finished at the top of the ladder, winning the minor premiership. They were strong favorites to win the main championship. However, they had a surprising loss in the preliminary final. They lost to North Queensland.
Chad continued to play for Parramatta in their finals campaigns in 2006 and 2007. In 2007, they reached the preliminary final again. His last year with Parramatta was 2008. The team did not make the finals that year. After the 2008 season, he left the team. In July 2008, he signed a two-year contract. This was with the Super League team Harlequins. He started playing for them in 2009.
About Chad Robinson's Life
Chad Robinson was the older brother of Tim Robinson. Tim also played professional rugby league for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. Chad passed away on November 26, 2016, in Kenthurst, Australia.
