His Amazing Running Career

Charles has achieved some impressive times in his running career. His personal best, which is his fastest time ever, for the 200-meter race is 20.22 seconds. That's super quick!

In 2009, he ran the 200-meter race in 20.00 seconds at the USA Outdoor Championships. This amazing performance earned him second place. It also meant he qualified to compete in the World Championships. These big races were held in Berlin, Germany, that year. Charles did very well there, finishing sixth in the 200-meter final.

High School and College Days

Even when he was in high school, Charles was recognized for his talent. USA Today newspaper chose him as an All-USA boys high school track selection. This means he was one of the best high school runners in the entire country!

After high school, Charles went to Florida State University. He continued to run track for the Florida State Seminoles team.
