Charles Hatley's Early Boxing Days
Before becoming a professional, Charles Hatley was a very successful amateur boxer. He won an amazing 250 out of 262 fights! That's a lot of wins.
In 2007, he won the U.S. National Amateur welterweight championship. This was a big achievement for him. He was also an alternate for the 2008 Olympics, meaning he was ready to step in if needed.

Charles Hatley started his professional boxing career in May 2009. In his very first pro fight, he knocked out Carlos Garcia from Puerto Rico in the first round. This was a strong start for him.
