Charlie Hope's first album was called I'm Me! A Collection of Songs for Children. It was a huge success! In 2010, this album won two Independent Music Awards. It won for "Best Album" and its main song, "I'm Me!", won "Best Song" in the Children's Music group. That same year, the album was also nominated for a Juno Award for Children's Album of the Year.
Her second album, World of Dreams, also received special recognition. It earned a "Seal of Excellence" from Creative Child magazine. It also won a Silver Award from Parents' Choice, which is a trusted group that reviews children's products.
Winning a Juno Award
Charlie Hope continued to make great music. Her album Songs, Stories and Friends: Let's Go Play! was released next. This album won a Juno Award in 2012 for Children's Album of the Year! This is one of the biggest music awards in Canada.
Songs, Stories and Friends: Let's Go Play! also won the Independent Music Award for Best Children's Album. One of the songs from this album, "Best Friends," was even nominated for an Independent Music Award too.
Where She's From
Charlie Hope was born in Toronto, Canada. When she was 11 years old, her family moved to Ashland, Massachusetts in the United States. Today, she lives in Seattle.
