About Charlotte Abramow
Charlotte Abramow started taking pictures when she was about 7 years old. When she was 16, a famous photographer named Paolo Roversi noticed her work. This happened during an internship at a photography festival called the Rencontres d'Arles in 2010.
In 2011, Roversi even wrote an article about Charlotte's photos in Polka Magazine. He praised her work, calling it "The fragility and soul of a warrior." In 2013, Charlotte went to a well-known art school in Paris, the Gobelins School. She finished her studies there in 2015.
Charlotte's photography often mixes serious ideas with playful or unexpected elements. She likes to show both deep emotions and a sense of fun in her pictures.
In 2017, she began directing music videos for the Belgian singer Angèle. She made videos for Angèle's songs La Loi de Murphy and Je veux tes yeux. In 2018, Charlotte also created a special video clip for International Women's Day. For this video, she used the song Les Passantes by Georges Brassens.
