About Charlotte Abramow
Charlotte Abramow started taking pictures when she was about 7 years old. When she was 16, a famous photographer named Paolo Roversi noticed her work. This happened during a special photography event called the Rencontres d'Arles in 2010.
In 2011, Roversi even wrote an article about Charlotte's photos. He called her work "The fragility and soul of a warrior," which means her pictures showed both delicate feelings and a strong spirit.
Charlotte went to a well-known photography school in Paris called the Gobelins School. She studied there from 2013 and finished in 2015. Her photography often combines deep thoughts with a sense of fun or silliness.
Her Work in Music Videos
In 2017, Charlotte began directing music videos for the Belgian singer Angèle. She directed the videos for Angèle's songs La Loi de Murphy and Je veux tes yeux.
In 2018, Charlotte created a special video for International Women's Day. This video used the song Les Passantes by Georges Brassens. Some images in the video led to it being restricted for viewers under 18 on YouTube. However, after many people protested, the age restriction was removed.
Charlotte has also been working on a photo project about her father, Maurice. This project focuses on his journey after he recovered from cancer.
