There's also a market "halle," which is a covered market area.

The Ouanne river flows through Charny. You can see it near the "rue des Ponts" (Street of Bridges). Charny also has a leisure lake where you might see geese and swans swimming. Sometimes, in March, the lake can get very full because of seasonal floods.
