Chelsea Ariane Surpris was born on December 20, 1996. She is a professional footballer who plays as a defender. Currently, she plays for Apollon Ladies, a club in the Cypriot First Division. Even though Chelsea was born in the United States, she proudly represents the Haiti national team.

Chelsea's Club Journey
Chelsea started playing football at a young age. She was part of the Dallas Sting club team. With the Dallas Sting, she helped her team win two big championships. They won the USYSA national championship in 2011. Later, in 2014, they also won the ECNL national championship. In 2019, Chelsea continued to play for the Dallas Sting. This time, she played in the WPSL.
High School and College Sports
Chelsea also played football for her high school team. She played for the Nolan Catholic Vikings. In 2012, she was named the team's most valuable player. Besides football, Chelsea was also a talented track and field athlete in high school.
After high school, Chelsea went to college. She played football for the Texas Longhorns from 2015 to 2018. During her time there, she played in 60 games. She scored 2 goals and helped her teammates score 2 more.
Playing for Her Country
Chelsea was born in the United States. Her parents are from Haiti, which means she has Haitian roots. She was once part of the United States under-20 national team. This team is for players under 20 years old.
Later, Chelsea joined the Haiti women's national team. She has played in several games for Haiti. One important game was in the 2020 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Championship. She played against the United States on January 28, 2020.
Coaching Career
Besides playing, Chelsea has also worked as a coach. On October 24, 2019, she became an assistant coach. She helped coach the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's team.
Personal Life
Chelsea studied at the University of Texas at Austin. She earned a special degree called a Bachelor of Arts. Her main subject was Human Dimensions of Organization. She also studied business as a minor subject.
