Chelsea Ariane Surpris (born 20 December 1996) is a talented professional footballer. She plays as a defender for Apollon Ladies, a club in the Cypriot First Division. Even though she was born in the United States, Chelsea proudly represents the Haiti national team.

Playing for Clubs: Chelsea's Journey
Chelsea Surpris started her football journey playing for the Dallas Sting club team when she was younger. She helped her team win big championships. These included the 2011 USYSA national championship. They also won the 2014 ECNL national championship.
In 2019, Chelsea continued to play for the Dallas Sting. This time, she played in the WPSL.
High School and College Football
Chelsea played for the Nolan Catholic Vikings during her high school years. She was named the team's most valuable player in 2012. Besides football, she also competed in track and field events.
After high school, Chelsea went to college and played for the Texas Longhorns. She played for them from 2015 to 2018. During her time there, she played in 60 games. She scored 2 goals and helped with 2 assists for her team.
Playing for Her Country: International Career
Chelsea Surpris was born in the United States. However, her parents are from Haiti, which means she has Haitian heritage. Because of this, she has played for both the United States and Haiti.
She was once part of the United States under-20 national team. Later, she joined the Haiti women's national team. She played in an important game for Haiti. This was during the 2020 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Championship. She played against the United States on 28 January 2020.
Coaching Football: A New Role
After her playing career, Chelsea also took on a coaching role. On 24 October 2019, she became an assistant coach. She worked with the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's team.
Chelsea's Life Off the Field
Chelsea Surpris is not just a talented athlete. She also focused on her education. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Her degree was in Human Dimensions of Organization. She also studied business as a minor.
