Chevrolet Avalanche facts for kids
The Chevrolet Avalanche was a special kind of truck called a sport utility truck. It had four doors and was sold by Chevrolet, a car brand owned by General Motors in the United States. The Avalanche was first made in 2002. It was named after a natural event where a lot of snow quickly slides down a mountain, which is called an Avalanche.
The Chevrolet Avalanche had two main versions, or "generations." The second version was first shown to the public at a big car show in Chicago in February 2006, and it started being made in 2007. This truck was known for being able to carry people like an SUV (sport utility vehicle) and also carry cargo like a Pickup truck.
