Chignahuapan Municipality (pronounced tchee-nah-WAH-pan Spanish pronunciation: [tʃiɣnaˈwapan]) is a town and a special area called a municipality in the Mexican state of Puebla. It is located in south-eastern Mexico. This area is famous for many fun places to visit. For example, it has the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. This church holds the largest statue of the Virgin Mary in Latin America. Chignahuapan also has amazing hot springs, known as Las Aguas Termales.
