Chinedu Ikedieze, born on December 12, 1977, is a famous Nigerian actor. He is also an entrepreneur and investor. He is best known for his role in the 2002 movie Aki na Ukwa, where he acted alongside Osita Iheme. People often call him "Aki" because of this popular role.

Chinedu has starred in more than 150 movies over 25 years. Early in his career, he often played child roles because of his small size. In 2011, he married fashion designer Nneoma Nwaijah. They have two daughters and a son.

Education and Early Career

Chinedu went to primary and secondary school in Aba, Abia State. After finishing secondary school, he studied Theatre Arts and Mass Communication. He earned his degrees from the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Enugu.

After his studies, Chinedu first wanted to become a lawyer. However, he decided to pursue acting in 1998. He started with small roles, like in the 1998 movie Evil Men. In 2004, he also attended the famous New York Film Academy.

This movie created a strong friendship between them. Since 2002, people have called them "Aki and Paw Paw". They have acted together in many movies, often playing the main characters. Their teamwork, both on and off screen, is highly praised in Nollywood. Chinedu and Osita even started their own company, Aki and Pawpaw Entertainment. They also have a charity called the Aki n Paw Child Care Foundation.

Awards and Recognition

Chinedu Ikedieze has received many honors for his acting. In 2007, he won a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

He was also given the Order of the Federal Republic award. This special award was presented by the former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan. It recognized Chinedu's important contributions to Nollywood and Nigeria's economy.

In 2018, Chinedu was honored in Miami, Florida in the USA. He was named a "distinguished visitor" to the city. He thanked the Mayor's office and commissioners, saying they had given him "a key to more success." He encouraged everyone to believe in themselves.
