Chris Chatterton is a fantastic English artist from County Durham. He is famous for illustrating many popular children's picture books. Some of his well-known works include the Gremlins series and Pete's Magic Pants. Chris also worked as an animation director for two episodes of the classic TV show, Doctor Who. These animated episodes, part of The Ice Warriors story, were released in August 2013.

Chris Chatterton's Life and Career
Chris Chatterton was born in 1982 in County Durham, England. Before becoming a full-time illustrator, Chris worked in graphic design. This means he helped create visual designs for different projects.
Early Work in Animation
Chris joined an animation studio called Qurios Entertainment. There, he worked on many exciting projects. These included commercials and animated shows for TV, movies, and even games. Some of the TV shows he helped with were Hyperdrive, Bonkers, Spooks, Tracy Beaker Returns, and The Dumping Ground.
Later, Qurios joined forces with Dene Films. This was a company in Newcastle upon Tyne that made live-action films. Chris became a Production Manager there until 2013.
Directing Doctor Who Animation
In February 2013, a big announcement was made. Chris Chatterton would direct two animated episodes of the famous Doctor Who story, The Ice Warriors. He worked with his long-time friends and co-producers, Niel Bushnell and Chris Chapman.
Becoming a Children's Book Illustrator
After Qurios and Dene Films closed in 2013, Chris started a new adventure. He began working as an illustrator for children's picture books. He is now represented by the Bright Literary Agency, which helps artists find work.
