Chris Egan (born October 26, 1986) is a former professional Australian rules football player. He played for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Chris Egan's Football Journey
Starting His AFL Career
Collingwood chose Chris Egan in the 2004 AFL draft. He was their first pick, and the tenth player chosen overall. Before joining the AFL, he played for Victoria Country in a big junior championship for players under 18.
Chris played his first game for Collingwood against Richmond in 2005. This was in Round 8 of the 2005 AFL season. He played almost every game for the rest of that year.
Playing for Collingwood
In 2005 and 2006, Chris played a total of 24 games. He scored 21 goals for Collingwood during these two seasons. However, he only played three more games in the next two years. After the 2008 season, Collingwood decided not to keep him on their team.
After the AFL
In early 2010, Chris Egan signed with the Echuca Football Club. This club plays in a league called the Goulburn Valley Football League.

Chris Egan comes from a family of footballers. His uncle is Phil Egan, who played for both the Richmond and Melbourne teams. Another of his uncles is Les Bamblett, who played for Footscray and Melbourne.
