Chrisanthi Avgerou (Greek: Χρυσάνθη Αυγέρου) was born in Greece in 1954. She is a British scholar who studies how Information Technology (IT) affects people and countries. She is especially interested in how IT is used in developing countries. Currently, she is a Professor of Information Systems at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
