Christina Lorenn Elmore (born March 18, 1987) is an American actress. She is well-known for her roles in popular TV shows. These include The Last Ship, where she played Lieutenant Alisha Granderson. She also starred in Twenties and HBO's Insecure.

Her Early Life and School Days
Christina Elmore was born to Dr. Ronn Elmore and Aladrian Slade Elmore. She grew up in Los Angeles and Sacramento, California. After finishing Franklin High School, she went to Harvard University. There, she earned a degree in African American studies.
While at Harvard, she started acting in plays. Later, in 2012, she received a special degree in acting. This degree was from the American Conservatory Theater.
Becoming an Actress: Her Career
Christina Elmore began her acting career in theater. In 2014, she played a main role in a play called The Purple Lights of Joppa Illinois. This play was put on by South Coast Repertory.
Her first movie role was a small part in the popular film Fruitvale Station. She then got a main role in the action-drama TV series The Last Ship. She played Lt. Alisha Granderson for five seasons. Christina also appeared as a guest in two episodes of HBO's Insecure. She later returned for a bigger role in the show's fourth season.
In 2020, Christina Elmore was cast in a main role on the TV series Twenties. This show started airing on BET.
