About the Church of the Advent
The Church of the Advent is still a busy place today. It serves people in Dakota County, Minnesota and nearby areas. The original church building from 1872 is quite small. It can only fit about 70 people inside.
How the Church is Used Today
Even though it's small, the old 1872 church building is often used for special events. It is a popular spot for weddings. For bigger church services, people gather in a larger room. This room is called the Michael and Lisbeth Sly Room. It was built in 1976 to hold more people. The main leader of the church is currently the Reverend Denise Ione Stahura.
