Churromania is a super popular international company that sells delicious churros! It was started in 1997 by a Venezuelan couple, Ariel Acosta-Rubio and Maria Alejandra Bravo.
Today, Churromania is run by ChurroMania International Holding, LLC. It has grown a lot, with more than 120 stores. You can find these stores in Venezuela, the United States, and several other countries in Latin America.
The Story of Churromania
How It All Began
Ariel Acosta-Rubio and Maria Alejandra Bravo opened their very first churro stand in 1997. This was in a city called Puerto La Cruz, in Anzoátegui, Venezuela. People really loved their churros!
Because their first stand was so successful, Ariel and Maria had a big dream. They wanted to bring Churromania to "each corner of Venezuela and the World."
Growing Bigger and Spreading Out
After their first stand, they opened a second store. Soon, Churromania became very popular across Venezuela. In less than two years, they opened 15 more stores!
Now, the company's main office is in Miami, Florida, in the United States. Ariel Acosta-Rubio and Maria Bravo have opened about 120 more stores since then. They also started to market their churros across the United States. They especially focused on areas with a large Hispanic population. Churromania began its operations in the U.S. in 2001, starting in Miami.
