Churromania is a super popular chain of stores that sells delicious churros! It was started in 1997 by Ariel Acosta-Rubio, his wife Maria Alejandra Bravo, and Miguel Bravo. They are from Venezuela.
Churromania is owned by a company called ChurroMania International Holding, LLC. Today, they have more than 120 stores. You can find them in Venezuela, the United States, and a few other countries in Latin America.

How Churromania Started and Grew
The First Churro Stand
The story of Churromania began in 1997. Ariel Acosta-Rubio and Maria Alejandra Bravo opened their very first churro stand. This stand was in Puerto La Cruz, a city in Anzoátegui, Venezuela. People loved their churros right away!
Expanding Across Venezuela
Because their first stand was so successful, Ariel and Maria had a big dream. They wanted to "take Churromania to each corner of Venezuela and the World." Soon, they opened a second store. The popularity of Churromania grew quickly across Venezuela. In less than two years, they opened 15 more stores!
Churromania Goes International
The company decided to move its main office to Miami, Florida, in the United States. This happened in 2001. From there, Ariel Acosta-Rubio and Maria Bravo continued to expand their business. They have now opened about 120 more stores. They also started to focus on the American market, especially for people who love Hispanic foods.
