Cindy Walters (born 1963) is an Australian architect. She is a partner at Walters & Cohen, an architecture firm in London, England.

Cindy studied architecture in South Africa. In 1990, she moved to London. She worked at a firm called Foster & Partners. Then, in 1994, she started her own company, Walters & Cohen, with Michál Cohen.

Designing for Education

Walters & Cohen is known for designing schools. In 2003, they were asked to create new school designs. This was for the Department for Education and Skills in the UK. Later, in 2012, they also designed schools for the Scottish Government. These designs helped create better learning spaces for students.

Awards and Recognition

Cindy Walters and Michál Cohen have won many awards for their work. In 2012, they received a special award. It was the first-ever Woman Architect of the Year Award from the Architects' Journal. The judges praised their high-quality building designs. They also noted how involved the firm was in teaching and helping other architects. At that time, most of the architects working at Walters & Cohen were women.
