The City Center Towers Complex is a cool set of two tall buildings in Fort Worth, Texas. These towers were designed by a famous architect named Paul Rudolph. They look a bit like pinwheels, but they are not exactly the same.
The Bank of America Tower
This tower is super tall! It stands 547 feet (167 meters) high. That makes it the second tallest building in Fort Worth. It has 38 floors, which is a lot of levels! The tower was finished in 1984. You can find it at 301 Commerce Street. It is the taller of the two buildings in the City Center Complex. Until 2017, it was known as the D.R. Horton Tower.
The Wells Fargo Tower
The Wells Fargo Tower is also in Fort Worth, Texas. It is 477 feet (145 meters) tall. This makes it the fifth tallest building in the city. It has 33 floors. Its addresses include Commerce Street, East 1st Street, East 2nd Street, and Main Street. This tower was finished in 1982. For a short time, from 1982 to 1983, it was the tallest building in Fort Worth. Then, the Burnett Plaza was completed and became taller. The Wells Fargo Tower is the shorter of the two buildings in the City Center Complex.
