Clare-Hope Ashitey (born February 12, 1987) is a talented British actress. She grew up in London, England. Clare-Hope went to the Centre Stage School of Performing Arts to learn acting. She also studied at The Latymer School for seven years.
After finishing school, she took a year off before university. During this time, she worked on the movie Children of Men (2006). In 2018, she played a main role in the Netflix crime drama series Seven Seconds.

Clare-Hope Ashitey was born in Enfield, a part of London. Her parents, Tina and Paul, are from Ghana. Her mother was a medical secretary, and her father was a dentist. Clare-Hope has an older sister named Grace and an older brother.
She went to Brimsdown primary school in Enfield. Later, she attended The Latymer School in North London. In 2009, she graduated from SOAS, University of London. She studied anthropology, which is the study of human societies and cultures.
