What Do Red Ribbons Look Like?
The flowers of the red ribbons plant are very special. They have four looping parts called sepals. These sepals are red or dark pink. They truly look like loops of silk ribbon. The petals are longer and pink. Each petal has three parts, or lobes. These lobes often have white streaks on them.
Different Kinds of Red Ribbons
Even within the red ribbons family, there are a few different types. These are called subspecies. They are slightly different versions of the same plant.
