Claudia Lösch (born 19 October 1988) is an amazing Austrian Paralympian who is a champion at alpine monoskiing. She has won many medals, including gold at the 2010 Winter Paralympics in Vancouver. There, she won gold in both the slalom and super-G events. She also earned a silver medal at the Alpine skiing at the 2014 Winter Paralympics – Women's super-G in Sochi.

Claudia Lösch was born in 1988 in Vienna, Austria. When she was young, in 1994, she became unable to move her legs. This meant she would use a wheelchair.

Claudia grew up in Neupölla. She finished school in Horn in 2007. After that, she went to Innsbruck to study political science. This is a subject about how governments work.

Her Journey in Sports

Claudia started alpine skiing, which is skiing down mountains. She became very good at the "women sitting" events. This means she skis using a special seat called a monoski.

She has won five medals at the Paralympic Games. Two of these were gold medals! Claudia has also done very well at the World Championships. She even competed in the World Cup in Canada.
