Climax is a small, unincorporated community located in Morrow County, in the U.S. state of Ohio. An "unincorporated community" means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a city or town with its own local government. It's part of the larger county area.
History
The community of Climax got its own post office in 1881. This was an important step, as it meant people could send and receive mail right there. The post office served the community for many years, closing its doors in 1929.
Back in its active days, Climax was more than just a post office. It had a church where people gathered, a country store for everyday needs, and even a town hall. These places were the heart of the community, bringing people together.
