Clinton Jackson (born May 20, 1954) is an American former professional boxer. He was known for his amazing skills as an amateur boxer. He even competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics. Clinton also won a silver medal at the 1974 World Championships. The next year, he earned a gold medal at the 1975 Pan American Games.

Clinton Jackson was born in Evergreen, Alabama. Growing up, he was a talented athlete. He played both football and basketball in high school. In 1970, he discovered boxing when he visited a gym in Pensacola, Florida.
As an amateur, Clinton had a great career. He won many important matches. At the 1974 World Championships, he earned a silver medal. He lost to Emilio Correa in the final match. But Clinton got his revenge! He defeated Correa on his way to winning a gold medal at the 1975 Pan American Games.
Clinton became a professional boxer in 1979. He had 32 professional fights in total. After his boxing career, he also coached a boxing team for the Nashville Sheriff's Department.
