A Look Back: The History of College Corner
College Corner was first established in the year 1850. It got its interesting name because of a school called Farmers Academy that was located there. This academy played an important role in the early days of the community. For a while, from 1862 to 1872, College Corner even had its own post office, helping people send and receive mail.
