Colorado Music Hall of Fame facts for kids
The Colorado Music Hall of Fame is a cool museum located inside the Trading Post building at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre. It's a place where Colorado's best musicians and important music history are honored and remembered.
The Colorado Music Hall of Fame started honoring people in 2011. The very first people to be celebrated were the famous songwriter John Denver and the amazing Red Rocks Amphitheatre itself. The museum has many interesting items, like the John Denver "Spirit" statue, which was given by the Windstar Foundation. This statue helps remember John Denver's contributions to music.
The person in charge, called the executive director, used to be G. Brown, who was a music writer and radio personality. In 2018, a musician named Chris Daniels took over this important role.
