The Columbia Southern Hotel, also known as the Shaniko Hotel, is a very old and important building in Shaniko, Oregon, United States. It was built between 1900 and 1902 by the Columbia Southern Railway. This hotel was the biggest building in Shaniko and was at the very end of the railway line.

For many years, especially in the early 1900s when the local wool industry was booming, the hotel was the main gathering spot in Shaniko. It offered rooms for travelers and also had a place for people to meet, a bank, and was a stop for stagecoaches. It was truly the heart of the community.

The hotel was recognized as a special historic place in 1979 when it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. In 1982, it was also included as an important part of the Shaniko Historic District, which is also on the National Register.
