Columbus Keith Short Jr. (born September 19, 1982) is an American actor and choreographer. He is well-known for his roles in movies like Stomp the Yard, Cadillac Records, Armored, and The Losers. He also worked as a choreographer for famous artists like Britney Spears. From 2012 to 2014, he starred as Harrison Wright in the TV series Scandal.

Early Life and Education
Columbus Short was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He grew up in a family that loved music. His mother, Janette, even ran a company that helped manage talented people. He has two brothers, John Rancipher and Chris Staples.
When Columbus was five years old, his family moved to Los Angeles. He quickly started acting in youth theater. He went to several high schools, including Marcos De Niza High School and El Segundo High School. He also attended the Orange County High School of the Arts. Later, he left school to join the Stomp dance show, which performed in theaters.
Acting Career Highlights
Columbus Short began his acting journey as a dancer in the 2004 movie You Got Served. He then appeared in the comedy film Accepted in 2006. That same year, he took on a main role in the movie Save the Last Dance 2.
His big break came in 2007 when he starred in Stomp the Yard. He also appeared twice on the Disney Channel Original Series That's So Raven. In this show, he played Trey, a member of a fictional boy band called "Boyz n' Motion." He also made guest appearances on TV shows like ER and Judging Amy.
In 2007, Columbus was in the movie This Christmas. The next year, he appeared in Quarantine. He also played the role of musician Little Walter in the 2008 film Cadillac Records. In 2010, he played "Pooch" in The Losers, a movie based on a graphic novel.
Family Life
Columbus Short has been married three times and has four children. He was first married to Brandi Short, and they have a son together. Later, he married dancer Tanee McCall in 2005, and they have a daughter. Since 2016, Columbus has been married to Aida Abramyan, and they have two sons.
