The Story of Combos
Combos snacks were first made in the early 1980s. A company called Mars, Incorporated distributes them. You can find Combos all over North America. Even though the pretzel shape was made first, Combos were initially sold as crackers. Later, they also became available with tortilla shells.
How Combos Are Made
Combos are made by taking a soft, bread-like dough. This dough is shaped into a hollow tube. A special cutter then slices the dough into small, bite-sized pieces. After that, the snacks are baked until they are crispy. Once they cool down, they are filled with their delicious centers.
