Combos, also known as Combos Stuffed Snacks, are a popular snack food. They are shaped like small tubes made from cracker, pretzel, or tortilla dough. Inside, they have different yummy fillings.
The Story of Combos
Combos snacks were first created in the early 1980s. A company called Mars, Incorporated makes and sells them. You can find Combos all over North America.
Even though pretzel Combos were made first, the cracker version was the first one sold in stores. Later, Combos also started to come with tortilla shells.
How Combos Are Made
Making Combos starts with a soft dough, a bit like bread dough. This dough is shaped into a hollow tube. Then, a special machine cuts the dough into small, bite-sized pieces.
After being cut, the snacks are baked until they are crispy. Once they cool down, they are filled with their delicious centers.

Combos in Advertising
Combos has used fun advertising campaigns to reach snack lovers. In 2006, they had a campaign called "Man Mom." Later, in 2008, they launched the "Combos Nation" campaign.
Combos was also a special sponsor for Kyle Busch, a famous NASCAR race car driver. His number 18 Toyota Camry race car often showed off Combos and other Mars products. Kyle Busch even won a big race in 2008 with Combos as the main sponsor on his car. Combos is known as the official cheese-filled snack of NASCAR.
