Concepción is a charming town and municipality located in the Antioquia region of Colombia. It's about 75 kilometers (47 miles) away from the big city of Medellin, nestled in the eastern part of Antioquia. In 1999, Concepción was officially recognized as a "Site of Cultural and National Interest." This is because it has beautiful old stone streets and has kept its traditional look very well over the years.
