What's Inside the Cooper Tennis Complex?
The Cooper Tennis Complex has many cool features for tennis fans. It includes Mediacom Stadium, which is home to the Springfield Lasers. This team has played there since 1996. The stadium can hold up to 2,500 people.
Besides the main stadium, there are many other courts. The complex has 16 outdoor courts that are lit up for night play. It also has 12 indoor courts, so you can play tennis no matter the weather.

In 2002, Tennis Industry Magazine named it the Municipal Facility of the Year. This award recognized it as the best city-owned tennis center.
The USTA Missouri Valley Section also honored the complex in 2006. They named it their Facility of the Year. These awards show how well-designed and managed the Cooper Tennis Complex is.
