Cooperdale, Ohio facts for kids
Cooperdale is a small place in Coshocton County, Ohio, in the United States. It is an unincorporated community, which means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town.
History
Cooperdale was named after a person called George Cooper. He was the one who started this community. This happened when a railroad, known as the Cleveland, Akron and Columbus Railroad, was built to reach that spot.
A post office was opened in Cooperdale in 1888. This office helped people send and receive mail. It stayed open for many years. The post office finally closed down in 1955.
