Corinth is a small, unincorporated community in Milam County, Texas, United States. An unincorporated community means it's a place where people live, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town.

A Look Back in Time

Corinth got its name from an old city called Corinth in Greece. It was settled in 1847 by people from Germany and the Czech Republic. For a while, Corinth was an important legal center for its area. This was before the local court office moved to Buckholts in 1892. Maps from 1941 showed Corinth had a cemetery and several homes. By 1988, maps only showed the cemetery, meaning fewer homes were there.

Where is Corinth?

Corinth is located in the western part of Milam County, Texas. You can find it on Farm to Market Road 1915. It is about 10 miles (16 km) west of a town called Cameron.
