The Amazing Adventures of Corvetto
Corvetto was a very loyal and clever servant who worked for a king. The king really liked Corvetto because he was so good at his job. But some of the other servants were jealous. They tried to make the king dislike Corvetto, but it didn't work!
These jealous servants then came up with a tricky plan. They told the king to send Corvetto to steal a magnificent horse from a scary ogre who lived nearby. Corvetto was brave and went to the ogre's home. He quickly jumped onto the horse!
The horse was magical and shouted to its master, the ogre. The ogre and his wild animals, including a scary Werewolf, chased after Corvetto. But Corvetto was too fast and rode the horse safely back to the king. The king was super happy with Corvetto!
The jealous servants didn't give up. Next, they told the king to send Corvetto to steal the ogre's beautiful tapestries. Corvetto went back to the ogre's house. He hid under the ogre's bed. In the middle of the night, he quietly took both the fancy tapestries and the bedspread.
Still, the servants kept trying to get Corvetto into trouble. They convinced the king to send Corvetto to steal the ogre's entire palace! Corvetto knew he needed a very clever plan this time. He dug a super deep pit right at the entrance of the ogre's castle and covered it up carefully.
Then, Corvetto tricked the ogre and his friends into falling into the hidden pit. This way, he defeated them. Corvetto then gave the whole palace to the king! The king was incredibly pleased with Corvetto's bravery and cleverness.
