Courtney Fells is an American professional basketball player. He was born on September 20, 1986. He has played for many teams around the world. His last team was KK Kvarner 2010 in Croatia. He also played for teams in Lebanon and Uruguay. Courtney played college basketball at NC State University.

Playing for NC State
Courtney Fells played college basketball for the NC State Wolfpack team. He attended North Carolina State University from 2005 to 2009. This was an important step before he became a professional player.
Professional Basketball Career
Starting His Pro Journey
After college, Courtney Fells was not chosen in the 2009 NBA draft. However, he joined the Orlando Magic for the 2009 NBA Summer League. Soon after, he signed with AEL Limassol in Cyprus for the 2009–10 season.
In 2010, he moved to another team in Cyprus, Keravnos, for the 2010–11 season. In January 2011, he left Cyprus. He then signed a deal with Hapoel Gilboa Galil in Israel.
Playing in Different Countries
After the 2010–11 season, Courtney joined Metros de Santiago in the Dominican Republic. He played for them during the 2011 LNB season. He then returned to Hapoel Gilboa Galil for the 2011–12 season. After that season, he played again for Metros de Santiago in 2012.
In August 2012, he signed with Hapoel Jerusalem in Israel. During the 2012–13 Eurocup season, he was named the MVP (Most Valuable Player) for Round 5.
After the 2012–13 season, he once more joined Metros de Santiago for the 2013 LNB season. In September 2013, he played a few games for Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters in the Philippines.
Time in the NBA Development League
On September 30, 2013, Courtney signed with the San Antonio Spurs. However, he was later released by the Spurs on October 20, 2013. On October 31, 2013, he joined the Austin Toros in the NBA Development League. This league helps players develop their skills. In April 2014, he signed with Bucaneros de La Guaira in Venezuela.
On July 25, 2014, he signed with Uşak Sportif in Turkey for the 2014–15 season.
More International Teams
On June 28, 2015, it was announced that Courtney would play for the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2015 NBA Las Vegas Summer League. On August 19, 2015, he signed with San Lorenzo de Almagro in Argentina.
On November 18, 2015, he left San Lorenzo and signed with Virtus Bologna in Italy. He played eleven games for them before leaving on February 16, 2016. On February 23, 2016, he signed with Trabzonspor in Turkey. He left Trabzonspor on April 30, 2016.
Later Career and Recent Teams
On October 30, 2016, Courtney Fells joined the Texas Legends. He played 10 games for them. On December 21, he moved to the Westchester Knicks in a trade. He was released by the Knicks on March 26, 2017. On April 2, 2017, he signed with the Atléticos de San Germán in Puerto Rico.
On October 5, 2017, Fells signed with Hapoel Galil Elyon in Israel. In May 2018, he played for Rafael Barias in the Dominican Republic. He later signed with Soles de Santo Domingo Este in July.
On March 3, 2022, Courtney Fells signed with KB Peja in the Kosovo Basketball Superleague. He last played for KK Kvarner 2010 in Croatia.
