Craig Garvey (born 28 April 1993) is an Australian professional rugby league player. He currently plays for the Glebe Dirty Reds team. Craig has also played for several well-known teams like the St. George Illawarra Dragons and Canterbury Bulldogs. He was also part of the Canberra Raiders and Sydney Roosters squads.

About Craig Garvey
Craig Garvey was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He started playing junior rugby league with the Earlwood Saints and La Perouse Panthers. Later, he was signed by the St. George Illawarra Dragons to play professionally.
Craig's Rugby League Journey
Starting His Career
In 2012 and 2013, Craig Garvey played for the St. George Illawarra Dragons' NYC team. This is a competition for younger players.
Making His Mark in 2013
In 2013, Craig became the captain of the St. George NYC team. He also played for the New South Wales under-20s team. They played against the Queensland under-20s team.
Craig signed a new two-year contract with St. George Illawarra in May. He made his first NRL game for St. George Illawarra in July 2013. This was a big step in his career.
Playing in the Nines Tournaments
Craig was chosen to play for St. George in the 2014 NRL Auckland Nines tournament. This is a special, faster version of rugby league. He also played in the 2015 NRL Auckland Nines for St. George.
In November 2015, Craig signed a two-year contract with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. He started playing for them in 2016. He also played in the 2016 NRL Auckland Nines and 2017 NRL Auckland Nines for the Bulldogs.
Playing for the Indigenous All Stars
In 2016, Craig had the honor of playing for the Indigenous All Stars team. They played against the World All Stars. This game celebrates Indigenous culture and talent in rugby league.
Moving to New Teams
In late 2017, Craig signed with the Canberra Raiders for the 2018 season. He spent most of this season playing for their feeder team, the Mount Pritchard Mounties. Later, he left the Raiders due to family reasons.
In 2019, Craig joined the Sydney Roosters.
Recent Career in 2024
On 14 September 2024, Craig Garvey played in the Ron Massey Cup grand final. His team, the Glebe Dirty Reds, won the championship against the Wentworthville.
