History of Crealy
The land where Crealy Theme Park & Resort now stands was bought in 1982. The park first welcomed visitors in 1988. Back then, it was a working farm. People came to see cows being milked with new, modern equipment.
In 1989, it officially opened as "Crealy the Great Farm Adventure." This was also the year its restaurant and the Treetops playground opened.
Changes and New Attractions
In 1992, the park's name changed to "Crealy Country." More exciting attractions were added. These included quad bikes and a fun bumper boat lake.
By 1994, the cows were sold. This made space for new indoor attractions. The next year, the Adventure Zone opened, giving visitors even more to do.
In 1997, the Magical Kingdom opened its doors. Today, this area is known as Buddy Bear's Kingdom.
Rollercoasters and Animals
The park got its very first roller coaster in 2000. It was a Vekoma Junior Coaster called Maximus. More rollercoasters arrived in 2014 and 2015. The Twister Rollercoaster, added in 2015, is the biggest ride at the park. It's a spinning wild mouse coaster!
In 2011, Crealy got a special license to keep different kinds of animals. This meant it could operate as a zoo! The first animals to arrive were Meerkats.
Places to Stay
In 2012, the park opened places for people to stay nearby. This was called Crealy Meadows Caravan and Camping Park. Now, it's just known as Crealy Meadows. Here, you can find spots for camping and caravans. They also have cool themed tents and fancy lodges for a comfy stay.
Today, Crealy has over 60 rides, attractions, and live shows. You can enjoy thrilling rides, rollercoasters, water rides, and play areas both indoors and outdoors. There's also the Animal Barn, where you can see zoo and farm animals.

About Camel Creek Adventure Park
There's another fun park called Camel Creek Adventure Park. It used to be connected to Crealy. Terry Sandling first opened this property in 1989 as The Shire Horse Centre.
In 2004, Crealy Great Adventure Parks bought the property. Later, in 2015, a new owner, John Broome, bought it. He changed its name to Camel Creek Adventure Park. About 200,000 people visit this park each year.
Camel Creek has exciting rides like the 5D Simulator, Morgawr, The Beast, Raging River, and Thunder Falls. It's especially great for younger children up to age six. The park also has its own special characters, Swampy and Dina.
