Cristin Milioti (born August 16, 1985) is an American actress. She is famous for playing Tracy McConnell in the TV show How I Met Your Mother. She was on the show from 2013 to 2014. Cristin also played Sofia Falcone in the HBO crime series The Penguin in 2024. For this role, she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
Cristin Milioti has also acted in many plays. She was in That Face (2010) and the musical Once (2011–2013). For Once, she won a Grammy Award and was nominated for a Tony Award. She also appeared in the movies The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) and Palm Springs (2020). On TV, she was in Fargo (2015), Made for Love (2021–2022), and The Resort (2022).

Early life and acting start
Cristin Milioti was born on August 16, 1985, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Her family has Italian roots. She found her love for acting in middle school at Long Lake Camp for the Arts in Long Lake, New York.
She finished high school at Cherry Hill High School East in 2003. There, she started performing in school plays. She later took acting classes at New York University. However, she left college during her second year because she was not happy there.

Cristin Milioti started her acting career with small parts in TV commercials. She also appeared in TV shows like The Sopranos and movies such as Greetings from the Shore.
She became well-known for her stage work. In 2007, she was on Broadway in the play Coram Boy. In 2010, she starred in That Face. She was also nominated for an award for her role in Stunning.
In 2012, Cristin was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical. This was for her role as "Girl" in the musical Once. She performed in this show from 2011 to 2013. Her performance in Once also helped her win a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album in 2013.
In 2013, Cristin joined the CBS TV show How I Met Your Mother. She played the main character, Tracy McConnell. Personal life
Cristin Milioti has an adopted dog named Rupert. He is a mixed-breed West Highland White Terrier. In 2021, Cristin worked with PETA. She made a video with Rupert to encourage people to adopt dogs from shelters instead of buying them from breeders.
