Cuentos del Sil facts for kids
Cuentos del Sil (which means Tales of the Sil) is a special book written in the Leonese language. It's a collection of stories from nine different writers. This book was supported by the local government of León, known as the Provincial Government of León, and two groups that work to promote the Leonese language: "El Fueyu" and "El Toralín".
About Cuentos del Sil
This book is unique because it brings together many writers from the Sil Valley, especially from a region called El Bierzu. It has more authors than any other collection of stories written in the Leonese language. The writers are of all ages, from teenagers to people in their eighties!
