Curdton, Missouri facts for kids
Curdton is a small, unincorporated community located in Stoddard County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. An unincorporated community is a place where people live, but it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town does.
What is Curdton's History?
The community of Curdton got its name from an early citizen named Sam Curd. A post office was opened in Curdton in 1899. This post office helped people send and receive mail, connecting the community to other places. However, the post office closed down in 1910, meaning it was only open for about 11 years.
