Where the Cvrcka River Starts and Ends
The Cvrcka river begins its journey high up in the mountains. It starts on the northern slopes of a mountain called Čemernica. This area is near a town known as Skender Vakuf. The river's source is quite high, about 1,100 meters (or 3,600 feet) above sea level.
The Cvrcka river actually forms from two smaller streams joining together. These streams are called Međurača and Vukača. Međurača starts even higher, around 1,200 meters up. Vukača begins a little lower, at about 1,150 meters.
After flowing for about 12 kilometers (or 7.5 miles), the Cvrcka river finishes its path. It joins the larger Vrbanja river between two villages, Večići and Vrbanjci. At this point, the river is about 310 meters (or 1,017 feet) above sea level.
