Dadsville is found in the western part of Ohio. It's quite close to the border with Indiana. You can find it east of a city called Richmond, Indiana. Major roads like Interstate 70, U.S. Route 35, and U.S. Route 40 are all nearby. These roads help people travel to and from the area.

How Dadsville Started

The story of Dadsville began in the year 1898. This was when an electric train line, called the Dayton & Western Electric Line, was built and reached this spot. The community was given its unique name to honor an important early resident. His name was John Baker, but many people knew him as "Daddy" Baker. He was one of the first people to settle and live in the area.
