Daiki Iwamasa (岩政 大樹, Iwamasa Daiki, born 30 January 1982) is a Japanese professional football manager and former player. He is currently the manager of the Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo club. He also played for the Japan national team until 2011.

Playing Career Highlights
Daiki Iwamasa was born in Suo-Oshima, Yamaguchi, Japan, on January 30, 1982. He started playing football in high school and college before becoming a professional player.
Time with Kashima Antlers
Iwamasa began his professional journey with Kashima Antlers in 2004. He quickly became a key player as a center-back. The club made history by winning the J1 League three times in a row from 2007 to 2009. This was a first for the J1 League!
Iwamasa was also recognized for his skills, being chosen for the J.League Best XI (a team of the best players) for three years in a row. During his time there, Kashima Antlers also won the Emperor's Cup twice (in 2007 and 2010) and the J.League Cup twice (in 2011 and 2012). He played for the club until the end of the 2013 season.
Playing in Thailand
In 2014, Iwamasa moved to Thailand to play for BEC Tero Sasana. He helped his new team win the 2014 Thai League Cup. He even scored a goal in the final match, which they won 2–0.
Return to Japan
After his time in Thailand, Iwamasa returned to Japan in 2015. He joined Fagiano Okayama, a team in the J2 League. In 2017, he moved to Tokyo United in a lower league. He retired from playing football at the end of the 2018 season.
International Football
Iwamasa was the captain of the Japan team that won the 2003 Summer Universiade, a big sports event for university students. He even scored a goal in the final game.
He was first called up to play for the Japan national team in 2008. His international debut was in a friendly match against Scotland on October 10, 2009.
Iwamasa was part of the 23-player squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Although he didn't play in any matches during the tournament, it was a great achievement to be selected. In 2011, he was part of the Japan team that won the 2011 AFC Asian Cup. He played in four matches during this winning campaign. He played a total of eight games for Japan until 2011.
Managerial Career
After finishing his playing career, Daiki Iwamasa started coaching.
Coaching at Jobu University
In 2021, he became the manager of the football team at Jobu University. This was his first step into coaching at a higher level.
Leading Kashima Antlers
In 2022, Iwamasa returned to his former club, Kashima Antlers, as an assistant manager. He took charge of some games when the main manager was unavailable. In August 2022, he was promoted to head manager of Kashima Antlers.
His first game as manager was a 2-0 home win against Avispa Fukuoka. The team finished the 2022 season in fourth place in the J1 League. In the 2023 season, Kashima Antlers had mixed results. They were knocked out of the Emperor's Cup by Ventforet Kofu after a penalty shootout. His contract with Kashima Antlers was not renewed for the 2024 season.
Managing Hà Nội FC
On January 11, 2024, Iwamasa was announced as the manager of V.League 1 club Hà Nội in Vietnam. He resigned from this role on July 8, 2024.
New Role at Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo
On December 12, 2024, it was announced that Daiki Iwamasa would become the manager of Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo starting from the 2025 season.
