Daisuke Yoneyama (米山 大輔, Yoneyama Daisuke), born on June 10, 1982, is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder during his career.

Daisuke Yoneyama's Football Journey

Daisuke Yoneyama was born in Kuwana, Japan. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career in 2001. He joined Cerezo Osaka, a team in Japan's top football league, the J1 League.

Early Career and Loans

On September 29, 2001, Daisuke played his first game for Cerezo Osaka. He came in as a substitute forward against Júbilo Iwata. However, at the end of the 2001 season, Cerezo Osaka moved down to the J2 League, which is the second division. Daisuke didn't play much during this time.

In 2003, he moved to Sagan Tosu, another J2 League club, on a temporary loan. There, he got to play in many games as an offensive midfielder. This helped him gain valuable experience.

Returning to Top Leagues

Daisuke returned to Cerezo Osaka in 2004. By then, Cerezo Osaka had moved back up to the J1 League. He played in a few matches, but still didn't get a lot of playing time until 2005.

In October 2005, Daisuke made a move to Rosso Kumamoto. This team was in the Japanese Regional Leagues, which are lower divisions of Japanese football. Rosso Kumamoto did well and was promoted to the Japan Football League at the end of 2005. In 2006, Daisuke played in many games for them.

Later Career and Retirement

In 2007, Daisuke joined Zweigen Kanazawa, another club in the Regional Leagues. He became a regular player for them, playing consistently for two seasons. Daisuke Yoneyama decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2008 season.
