Daisuke Yoneyama (米山 大輔, Yoneyama Daisuke, born June 10, 1982) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder.

Daisuke Yoneyama's Football Journey

Daisuke Yoneyama was born in Kuwana, Japan, on June 10, 1982. After finishing high school, he began his professional football career.

Starting with Cerezo Osaka

In 2001, Daisuke joined Cerezo Osaka, a team in Japan's top football league, the J1 League. He made his first appearance as a substitute forward on September 29. However, Cerezo Osaka was moved down to the J2 League at the end of the 2001 season. This meant Daisuke played only one match for them until 2002.

Playing for Sagan Tosu

In 2003, Daisuke moved to Sagan Tosu, another team in the J2 League. This move was a "loan," which means he played for Sagan Tosu for a short time before returning to his original club. At Sagan Tosu, he played many games as an offensive midfielder.

Returning to Cerezo Osaka

Daisuke went back to Cerezo Osaka in 2004. By then, Cerezo Osaka had returned to the J1 League. He played in a few matches, but he didn't get to play very often until 2005.

Moving to Regional Leagues

In October 2005, Daisuke joined Rosso Kumamoto. This team was part of the Japanese Regional Leagues, which are lower-level leagues. Rosso Kumamoto performed well and was promoted to the Japan Football League at the end of 2005. In 2006, Daisuke played in many games for them.

Finishing with Zweigen Kanazawa

In 2007, Daisuke moved to another Regional Leagues club, Zweigen Kanazawa. He became a regular player for two seasons, meaning he played in most of their games. Daisuke Yoneyama retired from professional football at the end of the 2008 season.
