Danh Monica (born November 4, 1986) is a talented actress, dancer, and businesswoman from Cambodia. She grew up to become a well-known star in Cambodia. Later, she started her own online business while living in Australia. Monica began her career as a child, trained in classical Cambodian ballet and opera. One of her first big roles was in the movie The Snake King's Child in 2001. She was also one of the first stars of TV soap operas in Cambodia.

Early Life and Dance Training
Monica's mother, Men Chennary, was also a dancer. She used to perform for the royal court before the Khmer Rouge group took control of Cambodia. Later, her mother became a teacher at a dance academy.
When Monica was 8 years old, she began learning classical Cambodian dance and opera. She studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Sometimes, she and her mother even performed together for King Norodom Sihanouk.
First Film Role
At the age of 13, Monica got her first movie role in The Snake King's Child. The director, Fai Sam Ang, chose her for the main part. He picked her because she was beautiful, a good actress, and stayed calm even around snakes!
Acting Career and Business Ventures
In the early 2000s, Danh Monica starred in many films. One of her most famous roles was as Teav in Tum Teav (2003). This movie was also directed by Fai Sam Ang. Interestingly, Monica's mother had played the same role of Teav in stage shows back in the 1960s.
After her acting career in Cambodia, Monica moved to Australia. There, she started her own international online business.
