Dani Raba's Football Journey
Starting Out at Villarreal
Dani Raba was born in Santander, Spain. He joined Villarreal CF in July 2014 when he was 19 years old. He started playing for Villarreal's C team. His first game as a senior player was on August 30, 2014. He even scored a goal in that game!
In January 2016, Dani started playing for Villarreal's B team. He was fully promoted to the B team for the 2016–17 season. He scored his first goal for the B team on August 28, 2016. He signed a new contract with Villarreal on June 4, 2017.
Dani made his first appearance for Villarreal's main team on October 25, 2017. This was in a cup competition called the Copa del Rey. His first game in La Liga, Spain's top league, happened on November 5, 2017.
Dani scored his first professional goal on November 23, 2017. This goal was in a European competition called the UEFA Europa League. Just ten days later, he scored his first goal in La Liga.
Playing for Other Teams
On August 5, 2019, Dani Raba went to play for SD Huesca on a loan deal for one season. Huesca had recently moved down from La Liga. He returned to Villarreal in July 2020. He didn't play much after that and left Villarreal on January 31, 2022. He played one game in the UEFA Champions League on November 23, 2021.
In February 2022, Dani signed a short contract with Granada CF. He played only a few minutes for them. His team was also moved down from the top league that season.
On June 24, 2022, Dani Raba joined CD Leganés for two years. Leganés plays in the Segunda División, which is the second division of Spanish football. He scored eight goals during the 2023–24 season. His team won the league and was promoted to La Liga!
In June 2024, Dani extended his contract with Leganés for another year. In the 2024–25 season, he scored eight goals again. However, Leganés was moved down from La Liga that season.
Joining Valencia
On June 5, 2025, Valencia CF announced that Dani Raba would be joining their team. He signed a two-year contract, which started on July 1, 2025.

Dani Raba has a younger brother named Pablo Raba. Pablo is also a football player. He plays as a defender and trained at Racing de Santander.
